Sofi Danon is a medical doctor. In her early teens she discovered Archibald Cronin’s books, read each single one of them and dreamt of becoming a doctor.
As soon as Bulgarian Jews were allowed back into universities, in 1945, she enrolled as a medical student and her dream came true.
